| Some of the songs have been used in schools and the ABC Sing! program. Jim also wrote a book for children on the crossing of the Blue Mountains which is still used in schools. The text of this book is now available for download on this site.
He worked for the NSW Department of School Education as a teacher and as a resource officer developing school learning materials.
The release of the CD Across the Blue Mountains wa an appropriate time to collect together and share some of the activities he developed over the years to encourage children to find out more about the Blue Mountains.
So feel free to dabble in the resources and use the material with your children. There are interactive sections as well as opportunities to download activity sheets. So have fun and visit us again as we continue to add to the site.
