MARCH 06 2013:
With Warragamba Dam opening its floodgates after the recent rains, we decided to investigate the impact on the site of Emu Ford - the spot where Blaxland Wentworth and Lawson crossed the Nepean River on their "tour of discovery" in 1813. The waters had dropped a little but the river was still flowing rapidly below the Weir and was covering parts of the Great River Walk.

The "famous" Explorers' Tree at Katoomba. Will this still look the same in May?.
FEBRUARY 25 2013:
Recent work is being carried out at Mt York in preparation for the Bicentenary Commemorations in May.
As a result, some parts of the area may be inaccessible.
